Everybody has a dream: it may be to be a doctor, a lawyer, or any career goal one might set for him or herself. My dream may sound like all of the others but it is a dream I’ve wanted to accomplish since childhood. And that is to become a performer.

As you know, I am disabled and use a wheelchair for mobility. I have Cerebral Palsy with Spastic paraplegia. But I don’t let something like disability keep me down. I have too much energy and faith to live life. Since performing is my ultimate dream and passion, I would like to fulfill it at a place which I fell in love with, where people share the same enthusiasm for music as I do. This is a school called Berkshire Hills Music Academy, a music school for people with disabilities. BHMA offers so much to people like me who society wants to throw away – they are making us to be productive citizens and live life to its fullest doing what we love to do.

I have been accepted to Berkshire Hills Music Academy, but the one thing that might stop me from having this dream is not being able to afford the tuition. I live with my mother, who is a single parent and has done her best to help me. But, at this time, we are not able to pay the costs for me to attend this wonderful school which will help me follow my dream.

I am writing this letter to my friends and mentors in communities which have, for so long, helped and supported me towards achieving my goals. Can you help me towards this goal, too? Any contribution would help, and your assistance might

well make the difference in allowing me to attend Berkshire Hills Music Academy.
